JEWELRY WARRANTY

Shield Maiden Jewelry stands behind every piece that leaves our hands.

Our one-year limited warranty covers sterling silver day collars and select larger steel pieces against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. Smaller or lower-priced items are not covered under this warranty, as they are more vulnerable to damage from mishandling — but we always encourage you to reach out if something doesn't seem right. 

What's covered:

  • Clasp or closure failure under normal wear
  • Joints or connections separating
  • Premature or unusual tarnishing

What's not covered:

  • Damage from chemicals, chlorine, saltwater, or harsh cleaning products
  • Physical damage from impact, snagging, or pulling
  • Normal surface wear and patina that develops over time
  • Lost items

How it works:

Within the first 30 days of purchase, if a covered item breaks under normal wear, we've got you — we'll cover return shipping to us and send your repaired piece back at no cost.

From 31 days up to one year, we'll still repair it free of charge. You'll be responsible for shipping it back to us; we cover shipping back to you.

To start a claim, contact us with your order number and a photo of the issue before sending anything back.

After the one-year warranty period, we're still happy to discuss repair options — because a piece you wear every day deserves to last.

APPAREL WARRANTY

We're so confident in the quality of our work that we offer a lifetime guarantee on our apparel against defects in materials and workmanship under regular wear and use. (This does not cover damage from combat, LARP battles, or situations where the garment sustains direct physical contact or force — you know who you are.)

How it works:

Within the first year, we cover return shipping both ways — just contact us, and we'll take care of it. After the first year, shipping back to us is on you, but the repair is always on us.
