This is a Medusa themed handmade chunky stainless steel chain layered necklace set. While a seemingly straightforward tale, Medusa's story explores female dynamics, female power against patriarchal forces, and the ultimate defense against the male gaze. Medusa is now the emblem of female empowerment, and some women use Medusa to indicate that they are a survivor of sexual violence and to symbolize their own empowerment. 

This is one necklace, a 5-strand drop festoon design necklace also adjustable from 15" to 16" at the shortest chain via a built-in extender. Adding depth and dimension to the piece is a u lock and Medusa medallion pendant along with a snake and ankh charm. Very punk, grunge aesthetic!
