At the centre hangs a smooth sterling silver ring from a decorative silver leaf bail, simple, strong and unmistakably Shield Maiden. The front section of the necklace is made from hollow sterling silver chain, while the necklace, extender, clasp, rings and pendant components are all sterling silver. The result is a piece that feels substantial without becoming excessively heavy: a modern silver collar with just enough edge to make a statement on its own.

Why Hollow Sterling Silver?

Hollow sterling silver is still genuine sterling silver. The difference is in its construction.
Rather than being solid all the way through, the larger curb links are formed with a hollow centre. This allows us to create a beautifully substantial chain with significantly less weight than an equivalent solid sterling silver chain.
