The tiny sterling silver heart shown in some photos can be added as an option. It gives the collar a softer contrast against the strong, industrial lines of the O-ring.

Because this piece is made from solid sterling silver rather than plated metal, the silver can naturally develop a patina over time. A quick polish will restore its bright shine, or leave the patina and let the piece develop its own character.
